Ink Beings Discussion: What's Next?

As the discourse on "tradition and innovation" in ink art verges on becoming conventional, it is perhaps not the forms of brush and ink that must be reinvented, but the very habits and frameworks of thought that shape them. Since its establishment, the Ink Beings collective has been driven by this conviction, seeking to open up new dimensions of ink art through sustained creative practice.

After three years of varied explorations, the four core members now gather to reflect on their artistic journeys. Moderated by Dr Raymond Tang, Deputy Director of the Art Museum at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, this discussion will unfold under the forward-looking theme “What’s Next?”—inviting a shared gaze toward the future of the medium.

Participation is free of charge and pre-registration is required. Limited spots available on a first-come, first-served basis.
